Mise En Place

Hey Fans! One really important part of cooking is Mise en Place which means “everything in it’s place”. This is a French term that should be used every time you want to make something. You have to get out and measure all the ingredients for the recipe you are using. When you do this, you can see if you have enough of every ingredient and it keep everything clean. To do this correctly, you need to separate every ingredient in their own little bowl or plate as well as completing each ingredient’s task. That means that if you need to grate or crop a vegetable or drain a can of peaches, anything listed next to the ingredient in the recipe ingredient list, do it now.
If you complete Mise En Place correctly, every meal you make will be amazing!
